Doors that open every shift, for years

A warehouse or workshop door gets used hundreds of times a week, in wind, dust and rain. We build ours for that: properly sized barrel shafts, deep guides, tough bottom rails and curtains rolled from galvanised steel, then installed square and tested before we hand over.

Every door starts with a site measure. We size the curtain, shaft and drive for the opening and the wind load, and add 180 mm wind guides on large or exposed openings. Our biggest door so far is 14.7 m wide, recent installs include 10 500 × 8 500 mm and 10 200 × 8 500 mm doors, and we are equipped to manufacture doors up to 15 000 mm wide, subject to engineering.

Notable achievement

We engineered and installed what we believe is the largest industrial roller shutter door in the Southern Hemisphere, at 14.7 m (14 700 mm) wide.

How the door operates

We fit the operation that suits the door and how often it is used:

  • Push-up
  • Chain operated
  • Motorised
  • Through‑wall gearbox
  • Gearbox operated

Perforated and powder-coated shutters

For shopping centres and retail, perforated roller shutters keep a store secure while staying see-through after hours. Black or colour-matched powder coating suits mall interiors and new builds.

How much does an industrial roller shutter door cost?

It depends on the size, curtain, drive and site. Send us the width and height of the opening and its location, and we will give you a written quote, usually the same day.

What is the biggest roller door you can make?

We can manufacture doors up to 15 000 mm wide, subject to engineering requirements. Our biggest door so far is 14.7 m wide, which we believe is the largest industrial roller shutter door in the Southern Hemisphere.

How can the door be operated?

Push-up, chain operated, motorised, through-wall gearbox or gearbox operated. We match the operation to the size of the door and how often it is used.

Can you motorise an existing roller door?

In most cases, yes. We check the curtain, shaft and guides, then fit a suitable electric operator.
